These advanced workshops are for experienced leaders who still know there is more to learn & more skills to master. Participants can get support as they apply what they learn in the workplace through individual executive coaching.
This workshop enables participants to position themselves as a peer and ally with their clients, moving beyond the role of vendor or solutions provider. This program provides those in sales, business development and general business, with the methods and tools to become trusted confidants, thus assuring long-term business relationships. This workshop is based on our associate, Tony Putman’s book, “Ally Relationships—The Key to Sustained Success for Your Service Business.”
This program focuses on practical professional ethics – beyond compliance with the rules. Participants will enhance their ability to know their personal ethical stance before confronting real life challenges, while exploring “ethics creep,” how to anticipate and handle the effects of multiple values in the workforce and the importance of moving beyond indifference and parochial thinking. Individuals will come away with appreciation for the bottom line value of a strong ethical stance.
In today’s workforce, leaders have multi-cultural teams of mixed generations, gender, and an array of styles and perspectives. This workshop explores the importance of inclusion in today’s workplace. Participants will understand the debilitating effect of giving in to “isms” and the bottom-line power of engaging people different from themselves. They will explore tools for engaging global and virtual teams and leveraging the rich differences in those they lead.
Difficult conversations are part of life, especially in the working world. This workshop explores what makes some conversations difficult, why we avoid them, and why we often handle them poorly. Participants will be taught how difficult conversations, when handled well, can build productive business relationships and enable personal and career success.
This program enhances participants’ ability to speak to groups of any size with greater impact. This workshop addresses the key components of effective speaking—content, body language, eye contact, pace and visual aids—and gives participants the chance to practice and receive coaching. Participants are video-taped and presentations are de-briefed and discussed. Participants learn how to manage their nerves, how to incorporate stories to make speeches more memorable, and how to speak with greater confidence.
